In line with the Peñafrancia Festival of Bicol, more particularly in Naga City, let me share twelve beautiful and historical churches located in Bicol. I have visited these churches on a couple of occasion that I have been there. The top photo is the Naga Metropolitan Cathedral which is one of the busiest church during the festival. This year, the Bicolanos are celebrating the 300th year of Devotion to Our Lady of Peñafrancia. In 1710, Fray Miguel Robles de Covarubias brought the devotion to Bicol, Philippines. Many miracles happened and since then "Ina" became part of every Bicolano’s lives.
Most of these Churches have already been featured in detail, so feel free to browse my latter posts on these Churches.

Parang nag bisita iglesia ka pala sa Bicol. I like the Daraga pic the most.
i've been to the Naga church in the first photo but didn't realize the exterior was yellow.:p sabagay, gabi pala kami nagpunta.
love your Daraga church shot-yon ang favorite ko.
Parang nagbisita Iglesia ka lang Atty ah. Yung daraga the best!
The churches are all so beautiful and each have their own lovely designs and styles.
all must visit churches, i see. which one's your favorite architecture wise?
Beautiful photos of churches! I like the last photo a lot!
claps for visiting and compiling bicol's churches. didny you visit ateneo de naga church? or yun na ba yung cathedral?
ang ganda ng dome! picture din ako jan (when I was young) hehe
the daraga church remains my favorite in this list. great backdrop and great church.
dami mong napuntahan.
Awesome collection of churches.
mga kaibigan ko nandyan ngayon for a fun run!
churches, madami nga sa bicol area..pareho kami ni dong daraga church yung isa sa madalas kong pasyalan dyan.
the great background of a hulking Mayon makes Daraga church even more beautiful. One of those classic Philippines scenes.
We just visited Basilica (in Naga) last Friday. Oh gawd, I was so amazed. It really transformed, it was way way different a year ago.
Nabua church is also one-of-a kind. It's the first church I saw made entirely of orange brick. Cool!
Our church in Oas is 405 years old - hmm, worth mentioning!
I like Daraga church in particular kasi proportional yung bell tower sa main building nya. honestly kasi di ako fan ng mga churches na inappropriate ang laki ng bell churches---parang tao lang...pag napakalaki ng ulo at maliit ang katawan, pangit diba?hehehe
my mother is from bicol, and when i was young, we went there at least twice a year. i must admit though i haven't been to some of the churches you've featured.
ganda sa bicol ano? :)
churches had been our trademark, it simply means we the Filipinos our bound with our religious beliefs..
Ang dami pala talagang magagandang Churches sa Bicol. Sana mapuntahan ko kahit isa dyan.
Wow. Ang ganda ng Daraga Church.
