The first place I visited in Sagada will be the last one I will post in this series. Nothing really melancholy but this blog is no stranger to Churches. I always believe every church has its own history from its architecture to the people who visits them.The Church of Saint Mary the Virgin is an Episcopal Church built around 1900s. It is located on topmost portion of the town proper so you really would not miss it. You will pass this church if you are going to the Saint Mary's School or in the Echo Valley. The public cemetery is located at the back of this church.
Why the title you may ask? Well, this post basically is a 3-in-one personal post for me. First, I love churches and this is one structure I usually visit whenever I am in a different place. Second, I went to this trip alone and meet with like-minded individuals for the first time in Baguio before proceeding to Sagada. I would like to believe that I gained friends in this trip. And third, I have visited this place before a typhoon hit Banguet and Mountain Province causing massive flooding and landslides and I believe it will take some time before the roads heading to Sagada are cleared of all the debris. I was really lucky to have visited this place before the onslaught of typhoon.
So, with this post I end this Sagada Series. I would like to thank Benj for inviting me to this trip. Thanks also to Tita Mary of the Residential Lodge for the very warm accommodations. And of course, to Ronnie, Dan and Adrian who also visited and explored Sagada with me for the very first time.

A church visit is always a great stop for me as well. It's a perfect opportunity to thank God for allowing us the beauty of travel and opening our eyes to the world He made.

Sagada is my go-to place when I have nowhere to go. Hang out ko St Mary's. How sad naman that the roads are impassable. I really pray that they get to clear the roads soon. :-(
