In my three-day stay in Hong Kong, I never saw the sun. The morning sky up to the late afternoon sky are all the same - hazy. During this time of the year, Hong Kong's weather is just that. Smogs and rains. And during those few times that it wasn't raining, I went to Victoria Harbour which is just a half-hour walk from the hotel I was staying.Famous for its spectacular views, Victoria Harbour is a major tourist attraction of Hong Kong. Located in the middle of the territory's dense urban region, the harbour is best seen in Victoria Peak where you can have its entire panoramic view or you can leisurely walk through its bay and promenade for a more close-up look. Since it is useless going to the peak because smogs block the view (I only managed to shoot some photos in the Mid-Level of Victoria Peak), I opt to do the second one and shoot the Harbour up-close. So here are some photos I have taken of the place:
More of Hong Kong in my next posts...
29 took the journey:
Just like in the movie
i felt claustrophobic when i was in HK.feeling ko masasakluban ako ng mga buildings. :-)
I love the first pic the most. Parang computer games pala weather sa Hong Kong.
When we went to Hong Kong a couple of years ago, it was also cloudy. We didn't get to enjoy Disneyland so much because it was drizzling. I love Kowloon! Great food!
Galing nung blurred part sa first pic! :)
Sayang, mas maganda sana if the sun appeared. Neither the less, nice take of the harbor.
the first photo is amazing! that wooden boat stands out from the cluster of shiny yachts.
Oh these photos are lovely. Hongkong is now so polluted and so crowded. But I still like to shop and eat there. The next time if I ever visit HK again, I must venture to their offshore island.
YOu took nice photos despite the absence of summer-blue skies and cotton-white clouds. Well, this is photography, you show what's up in there.
I'd really love to see more photos in your HK adventure...
I love Hongkong and in fact, I will be back there later this year for a one-week vacation. I do plan to go to Victoria Peak and I will definitely add Victoria Harbor to my list of places to see. I also plan to explore Kowloon since I only toured HK island the last time I was there.
Great pics, Pards!
Hong Kong is already very congested. But I still want to go back if I have the chance.
Nice shots!

I've always wondered how the people who live in these boats ever get water, electricity and sewage services ! I guess, they're not allowed to dump anything in the water eh?
The harbor view is the best. Excellent shots
