Sunrise @ Paitan Cove

Waking-up in a world with no electricity and any trace of civilization is always a welcome change from our busy and hectic urban life. I had one of my most sound sleep in days... the sound of waves splashing on the shores, the constant cry of tree lizards and the consonance of leaves dancing in the gentle breeze all add up to a night of solace. And as I wake-up, the most beautiful sunrise I have ever seen greeted me and welcoming me to a day of nurture. It's time to go back to basics.

Ripples of Sand and a Lovely Sunrise

Our boat - the only means of transportation in the place.

The morning sun reflecting in the calm sea.

Morning is the perfect time to catch fish.

Two fisherman seizing their catch.

Lawstude enjoying the Sunrise

Morning has finally broken at Paitan Cove

More photos and stories of the place on my next posts...

I just love sunrises!!! And you have captured it excellently! Sunrise ia such a celebration of life and spirit. A new beginning full of hope and of dreams coming true. It radiates so much energy, you can literally feel it on your skin. I'm sure you have basked on it ... kainggit.

Very beautiful place. Wow, love the first photo where the sky looked like some Gods living up there. :) The beach looked so lovely and yes, I too love to watch the activities on the beach whether it is the fishermen or some sea creatures crawling along the beach. Looking forward to more photos of the lovely place.

Hi Norman! Sorry for the long delay in coming here, but the last two weeks were too hectic!
Finally I managed to get to your blog, and see some wonderful pictures! Loved the sunrise. It's great that someone wakes up early to catch pictures that otherwise I wouldn't catch in bed... ;))
Wonderful Ciudad Real de Acuzar!!
Meanwhile Blogtrotter is back to Greece in November 2007! Hope you enjoy and have a great week!

Where's Paitan Cove? That sunrise (first picture) almost look like a painting, with rainbow of colors. It almost took my breathe away just staring at the photo. Another photo, well done!

touched ako attorney...felling ko hindi lang ang kagandahan ng paligid ang meron tayo ( ako pala) pati ang masalimuot na buhay tapos biglang magising sa umaga na ...napakaganda pala.

LS: Nothing like a few clouds to make a sunrise special. That first one with the radial beams is really outstanding my friend.

actually anytime between the sunrise and the sunset, when it get dark, there's nothing much to see, but the quietness and peace of coarse is always a welcome thing to a weary soul.....
