With more than Seven Thousand Islands and various shapes and sizes, the Islands Philippines is truly gifted with lots of beautiful coves where the sea touches the hills and mountains thru fine-textured sand. Some of the best coves in the Philippines can be found in the Gulf of Bagac in Bataan. One of them is Paitan Cove - an unspoiled place and one of the town's best kept secret.Paitan Cove named after the Barangay where it is located features a small stretch of fine cream-colored sand that ends in a series of beautifully-formed stones and rocks that made-up its seascape. It is also famous in the area for its shallow beach and amazing plankton that glows in the dark as you wade in its waters. And since there are is no electricity in the place, one will have to really go back to basics and learn to live the old-fashioned way. Here are some of the photos I have taken of the place:
How to go there?
There are buses plying almost hourly from Manila to Balanga City, Bataan (about 150 kms). Then, from Balanga, you can take another bus that will lead you to Bagac (about 27 kms). Then at Bagac Town Center, you can hire a tricycle that will lead you to Gulf of Bagac. From there, you need to ride a boat directly to the Paitan Cove. Alternatively, you can ask your tricycle driver to go directly to Barangay Paitan (the ride is quite bumpy thou), and trek about 10 to 20 minutes to the Cove.

Yes, you should ride the boat. ;)
I think if there is ever a place of which I am envious of living, it is YOUR world. I love the ocean, and the places you show are so clean and beautiful. The electricity would be a challenge here, but it is just so beautiful.

Back to basics; I've never tried lighting camp fire before pero I think it would be a nice experience for me if I could go there. Beautiful beach na.

agree ako kay doc rio kuya oman. may certain "lungkot" sa pics which, I think, creates an effect. actually that's what i like about your pics. attractive masyado tas distinct yung compositions.
Will Lawstude ride the Boat? --> uhm, hula ko hindi. hehe

One more nice discovery! Promising place!
ang ganda naman. galing mo kumuha promise hehe
May resorts ba doon which can accommodate 35 persons? Or camp with tent lang? Ang ganda kasi but not sure if it's a good idea for company outing. Mukhang madali namang puntahan kung may sasakyan. Can you recommend a resort? Thanks.
madami ng kubo n may isang bahay na silang ginawa ngayon, may electricity na din sa paitan cove.. ganda lalong luminis..
