Correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is the only City in the Philippines that has a school subject attached to it. In fact, it is the first and only Science City of the country. The City is expected to contribute widely on the fast growth and development not only of the region but the nation through the technologies developed by the research and development centers based within its territorial jurisdiction.The City is home to the Central Luzon State University which is declared as the agro-tourism center for Luzon as well as science centers/labs of The Philippine Rice Research Institute, Philippine Carabao Center, Bureau of Postharvest Research and Extension and the National Freshwater Fishery Technology Center.

It's near the university where I graduated. Pangasinan State University Bayambang but I have never been here. And yeah, I heard a lot of good things about this place. Glad to see these pics here. Now I have a more clear idea of what they are talking about.....

@ luna miranda - thanks. the university is quite large so a bicycle is a nice tool to go around the place. nasisilungan naman ng mga acacia ang lace kaya malilim.

First of all, I love water towers and I think they make great pictures. The centennial trees picture could have been taken in some of our southern USA cities. I enjoyed all of these pictures but my very favorite is the hero statue. He really looks like a hero.
I had no idea what it looks like in the Philippines so it's nice to see all these great pictues.

I miss home. I miss CLSU. It's been 9 years since I last stepped on the portals of my alma mater. Nice photos. I missed that old water tank. That's part of the ROTC HQ when I was there.
I miss the century old trees too.
