Jump 4 Joy

Don't you just miss those good old times when you were just a kid - so carefree and unworried about the problems of the world and just enjoying every minute of your hassle-free life?

Just like these two kids at play who are having the time of their lives in a rural area untouched by modern civilization.

The boys looked like they have lots of fun and stressfree. Over here we pampered our children so much and our kids are laden with so much homework. I think kids should go out and have fun. Some parents do not want to lose out and have their kids enrol in many courses that are not necessary. I remembered when my sons were young, they only go for swimming lessons and chinese tutions. And the only time my sons get to play computer was during school holidays. They could play boardgames however. Am I a strict mother? lol

ifoundme said...

ah yes! i missed the times when the only strict instruction of my lolo is to just let me play, rain or shine, and nobody should dare to contradict this. hehehe!

meron din akong pic of 3 boys playing. ang cute cute nila! i'll post it in my blog as soon as photoshop and i will become friends. we're not, you know. it is giving me a hard time. LOL!

Shionge said...

I do enjoyed those carefree days like these boys are having. Just that those days here it was more like jumping into big canals and catching fishes ;)

Thanks for your comment at my last blog entry....I did hang in there for friends but it is not fun being the 'punching bag' all the time ;(

Shionge said...

I'll vote for you :D

the donG said...

i remember those days when playing was a lifestyle. hahaha... everyday, when the class ends, we will always make sure that we play either baseball, boardgames and other pinoy games.

kegler747 said...

R-yo said...

vinzent said...

Random Ramblings said...

we used to go to the rivers too and take a bath. fully-clothed of course!

Kyels said...

I do miss the days when I was still a child. I was so carefree and there was nothing to worry but I guess we all have to grow up one day and the memories will be etched forever in our minds.

LS: That looks like a lot of fun, I used to swim in a river as a kid and we had a rope swing over the water.

Neva said...

They sure look like they are having fun! I am not sure I would have ever jumped from there even as a child!!! Have a good day as well.!

dot said...

It looks like fun but being a mother I'd worry that they were going to get hurt.

Dakilang Islander said...

i remember my childhood days parang ganito rin kasi laking probinsya ako...ang saya ko na pag payagan maligo sa ilog..heh

Uno said...

those kids are truly having fun. sarap maligo sa ilog.

about your query in the poll and the not so normal votes that your co-nominees are receiving, i believe that they are using proxy servers so that they can have multiple votes for themselves. that is the main reason why they accumulate large votes for just a short time and just few or no votes on majority of the time. in short, they cheat bro kaya dapat mag sour-grape ka. hehehe ;-p

Lawstude said...

@ selerines - thanks dude. congrats for your country's olympic gold. we will still wait for one. thanks for voting.

Lawstude said...

Lawstude said...

Lawstude said...

@ r-yo - ang bata mo namang pedo. kaya mong ipagtanggol sarili mo nyan, hapunin mo sila panyero.

Lawstude said...

Lawstude said...

Lawstude said...

@ kyels - i agree. and i just hope that everyone will have good and fond memories of their childhood.

Lawstude said...

@ george - if i ahve my spanish righy, you are saying that the images brings back memories when you are also swimming in the river. (nosebleed na naman ako).

anyways, thanks for the comment and hope you have a great day.

Lawstude said...

@ fishing guy - itwas indeed fun, the kids had the time of their lives there, so carefree and uninhibited.

Lawstude said...

@ neva - i think the portion of that river was quite deep but i heard that an american died while jumping there because he landed face first on a shallow part of the river.

Lawstude said...

@ marie - two thanks. for the comment and the vote. ;)

Lawstude said...

@ sonia a.m. - they surely had fun by the looks of it. thanks.

Lawstude said...

@ gypsy - thank you. i miss those time too when i used to do the same thing when i was a kid.

Lawstude said...

@ nanaybelen - salamat nanay. medyo malayo naman yung mga bata kaya sana wala magreact hehehe.

Lawstude said...

@ dot - i think they are so used in doing it because they do it effortlessly.

Lawstude said...

Lawstude said...

@ uno - lols ganun pala yun. alam ko once a day per IP ang boto kasi eh. pero ok lang kasi madami naman ako boto tyaka boto talaga ng bloggers/readers yun. ok na sakin yun.

Rio said...

binoto ulit kita...pwede ba yun?

salingPUSA said...

Looks like a local version of brokeback mountain. But yeah, they are so carefree but they were not able to escape the lenses of your camera.....binayaran u ba ng talent fee yang mga yan?kkk

By the way---I voted for you. good luck

Being young was great - I think. I just don't know if I can remeber back that far - it was soooo long ago!!!!

Lawstude said...

Lawstude said...

@ salingpusa - nope. naabutan ko lang sila nagswiswimming sa ilog and it reminded me of my childhood kaya kinunan ko sila camera. and nakakatuwa nga noong malaman nila na kinukuhanan ko sila ay lalo sila nagpasikat.

Lawstude said...

@ dave - hey welcome back again. that's really my point in showing these pics - to really captured the fun of being kids and being carefree.

Lawstude said...

@ tutubi - i think you can no longer swim in laguna de bay because of the trash there and it is really alarming how some of our rivers and lakes become polluted with the passing years.

Lawstude said...

@ rolly - wow, napagalitan ang abogado hahaha. bro, i hope you could look past the nudity because that is not what this post is all about.

Lawstude said...

@ jules - well, i bet your children or your grandchildren can relive those amazing kiddie memories. thanks for the visit.

Absolutely JORO said...

Di naman kita napagalitan atty. That was only my comment.

Anyway, I added you up. You've got a wonderful blog. Keep it up.

beero said...

the pics remind me of my childhood days. i would then spend hours swimming in the river, dive, and play "habulan" on land and in water. hehe. but i have my brief as i do those. hehe
