Dong Ho and I have shared and showed to you in our previous posts the hills and amazing rock formations as well as the pristine beaches and shorelines of Capones Island..
However, the island is not just hills and beaches but also has everything that a nature-lover wants. So, in my last post about the place, let me share to you some other elements and scenes not only on the beach and the hills but from some other things in between.

Again, I would like to thank my friend Dom and the Lingkod-Alabang Brothers whom I joined in this memorable trip.
Although we shared to you the beauty of the place, it is disheartening to see piles of trash left by fellow campers and tourists as well as writing of "XXX was here" in the rocks and hills of the islands.As you look at these pics, please join me in pleading to everyone who wants to go there to protect the place and refrain from vandalizing and leaving their thrash in this wonderful island paradise. Let us be responsible and share this wonderful island to future generations.

gusto ko yung nakasulat sa sand. galing! parang may buhay. makulay.
oo nga naman. what i hate the most is yung pati sa mga cave walls kinahihiligan ding lagyan ng grafitti. knowing na matagal na panahon bago mabura yon.
astig! hindi ko yata nakita nung ginawa mo yung sa buhangin. hehehe... malamang doon mo sa dulo ginawa yon.
nakita ko na naman yung dike na ginawa nating mega dike. hehehe...
gustong gusto ko yung second shot na yan nung pinakita mo sa akin.

I love the photos. Ang ganda ng 1st photo. The blue is really nice.
as usual napa wow na naman ako. ang pinakamagandang kuha para sa akin ay picture number 2. ang most memorable pic is number 9.
saan ang next destination mo this augist? at saan ka sa september? like september 08? (wink)

Hello Guys it's 08.08.08 and the start of the Beijing Olympics. But as early as yesterday, my blog seemed to be sommersaulting with errors that the comment section has been acting funny. Nevertheless, I think it is ok now 'coz the comments in my two previous posts have come back.

it's really sad how some visitors just rampantly leave their garbage behind. walang care-taker ang place kaya dapat di nila abusuhin ang island.
minsan tuloy kakalungkot magblog about a new place kasi baka puntahan ng mga unconcerned tourists.
@ the dong - yup sa dulo yan noong second day natin. sayang wala ako kuha ng improved mega dike. ganda pa naman ng ginawa natin doon.

@ kyels - kakatuwa yang puno na yan kasi di ko alam kung paano sya nabuhay sa lugar na yun. wala sya talaga dahon.

sa august at september medyo maulan kaya baka iwas muna travel pero who knows?

i like all the photos pero yung first ang pinakagusto ko.. malalim ang meaning para saken.. basta mahirap i-explain. lalo na siguro kung sa totoong buhay ko makikita yan. :)
hindi talaga matatawaran yung ganitong mga adventures. kainis lang talaga yung mga walang pakundangan na nag-iiwan ng hindi magandang bakas sa kalikasan. hmmp! sa kanila..

Your photos are absolutely stunning.....and the ignorance of people around the world never ceases to amaze me.....(leaving trash, vandalizing...as if they are the only ones on the planet!)...... a very happy 080808 to you as well...my son (who lives in Beijing) says the excitement is UNBELIEVABLE.....the chinese being so into numbers!!!!

sayang naman ang island na yan walang nagme-maintain. Pero na pakaganda pa rin tignan.
napanuod ko sa chanel 7, marami pa daw island na hindi name-maintain pero dinadayo pa rin ng ibang turista at walang takot mag stay ng 2-3 days
i like the briar photo because it makes me feel a sense of struggle in it but at the same time it gives you an impression that there is hope and light and triumph at the end of that struggle.

I like all the photos but i like the briar the most. It's like you have to pass the torns before you could go to the beach.

I don’t know what one could do to prevent some people from vandalizing and leaving their trash all around they find themselves. I don’t know what kind of people they are when they don’t care about nature in which they like to enjoy and who don’t care about other generations that come. That really makes me angry.
@ nanaybelen - i think napanood ko din po yon. sa romblon yata yoon eh yung may mag-asawa na nakatira sa island. masarap nga puntahan yon. sana kahit di sya developed eh di naman i-vandalize o kalatan ng mga pumupunta doon.
@ prinsesamusang - you know what? other than the leafless tree taht we call the firetree, the plant with torns is among my favorite subject there because like what you have said, it symbolizes difficulties amidst the beauty of the island.
@ vinzent - somewhat mystical, don't you think? what comes to mind is medieval times when a castle is surrounded by torns and that one has to pass these torns to find the island's beauty.

these people are really ignorant of the consequences of their acts. i personally think that awareness is the key for th to stop vandalizing and throwing their garbage there.
